Incoterms
The Incoterms (short for International Commercial Terms) are published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and are a globally valid standard for the delivery conditions in international transactions. There are currently eleven commercial terms, which were last updated in 2020 and regulate the rights and obligations of buyers and sellers in international sales contracts for the delivery of goods. Among other things, the following topics are covered: Transport responsibility, where is the transfer of risk, to where does the seller deliver, … The Incoterm rules are only legally binding if they are expressly agreed, for example, in the purchase contract between the seller and the buyer.
The Incoterms are integrated into CarLo inAIR&SEA, the air and sea freight software by Soloplan.
