Cargo
Cargo (also referred to as loaded goods) is the freight of a means of transport that is transported by a freight carrier based on a freight contract.
It only includes the freight itself, but not auxiliary means such as pallets, cages, straps, etc. The load, on the other hand, also includes the non-freight goods.
In the transport industry, cargo is the term for the load itself, which is loaded and transported by means of transport. It is transported by a freight carrier for payment; the transport itself is organised by forwarders.
It includes all types of goods that can be transported, regardless of whether they are bulk cargo, grouped loads, general cargo or free-flowing bulk material. These goods themselves can comprise any form of commodity.
