Viable solutions for the future–the positive results of the Soloplan “hackathon”
The Soloplan “hackathon” was a great success. The event took place on the weekend of 18 to 20 November 2022 and was organised in cooperation with the University of Kempten, the Institute for Production and Informatics (Technologietransferzentrum) Sonthofen and the AK Gaming e.V.
3 teams of 11 computer science students developed solutions for the communication of the future in the logistics sector. Last week, on Friday, 25 November 2022, the final presentation was held at Soloplan’s offices.
The jury consisting of the leaders of Soloplan’s development department Christian Heidl and Steffen Wilke as well as Marco Ullrich of the technology transfer centre Sonthofen and Robin Hilbert of the University Kempten crowned team 1 the winners. The winning team can look forward to an evening in Soloplan’s box in the bigBOX for an evening event of their choice.
We are happy to closely work together with researchers and to instil passion in young students for application cases from the real world. The results from the Soloplan “hackathon” are interesting and viable solutions. Soloplan’s development team is now examining and trying to adopt and implement in the company’s software products.
In the end, all participants were satisfied and the Soloplan “hackathon” will probably enter its second round in autumn 2023.
