The Innovation Lab opens its doors

As an extension of the cooperation between Soloplan and the University of Kempten, the new Laboratory for Innovation and Digitalisation in Logistics has opened at the start of the new semester at the University of Kempten. The focus of the Innovation Lab is the digitalisation of the transport and logistics sector. For this purpose, the use of state-of-the-art technology is researched, e.g. in the areas of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality (AR) or voice control.

In the last weeks, the students have already been researching and developing diligently, under observation of the current hygiene regulations.

Because of Soloplan GmbH, a opportunity is created at the University of Kempten that fulfils both the spatial as well as the technical requirements to research innovative technologies and create solutions for digital logistics.

The Laboratory for Innovation and Digitalisation in Logistics is always available to the students, and, apart from projects and learning units, the Innovation Lab of course also provides space for creative breaks in deckchairs or bean bags. As soon as the situation allows it again, the Soloplan HR team will be there every Wednesday in order to answer any questions about career opportunities at Soloplan.
