Another large transport & logistics company from Namibia chooses Soloplan and CarLo as their software solution
Absolute Logistics is equipping 25 workplaces in southern Africa with Soloplan’s logistics software. GoLive is planned for the beginning of next year.
The company Absolute Logistics is a medium-sized company from Windhoek in Namibia and transports, among other things, dangerous goods, partial and full loads and, with special trucks, also carries out heavy-load transports.
The truck fleet, part of which has special equipment, consists of 130 smaller vehicles and 40 large trucks for individual deliveries. Absolute Logistics transports goods of every type and size. Therefore, the logistics company is viewed as a transport all-rounder in Namibia and South Africa.
In the future, the transport management system CarLo and the add-ons CarLo inTOUCH and CarLo inMOTION will significantly simplify the everyday work for the 25 employees. With the logistics software developed by Soloplan, all processes within the forwarding company will be optimised and digitised, which provides a significant competitive edge.
“In the future, we will optimise our processes with Soloplan’s TMS, which has become necessary due to our growth in recent years. We were convinced by the logical structure of the software, the cornucopia of possibilities in Planning and the intuitive use,” says CEO Holger Jensen, explaining the decision in favour of Soloplan.
GoLive with 25 new CarLo users at the Namibia headquarters and the Cape Town and Johannesburg branches is planned for early 2022. We are looking forward to the implementation of this exciting project and the future cooperation with Absolute Logistics.
