Practice day of the universities at Soloplan

Last Wednesday, the practical day of the universities took place at Soloplan in compliance with hygiene regulations. From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., the 14 students from Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences and Augsburg University of Applied Sciences were able to gain an insight into THE software house of the logistics industry.

In addition to a general company presentation of Soloplan, the students from the study programs Computer Science, Business Informatics, International Management and Logistics were able to work on first use cases in the intuitive transport management system CarLo®. After a short tour through the company, which included a visit to Soloplan City’s offices, newly occupied in 2019, as well as a presentation of the company’s individual departments, Dr. André Rauh finished the practical day with a technical lecture on the topic of “Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence”.
