Lecture series at the University of Kempten
A lecture series held as part of the logistics master’s programme at the University of Kempten gave five teams the opportunity to address topics that are currently of great relevance in the transport sector. Various companies supported the teams in their research. The members of the Soloplan team worked on the project “Brexit and its impact on transport logistics” and presented their results last week.
The quantitative and narrative study focused on transport and forwarding companies with direct ties to the UK as well as on Brexit experts. The aim was to get an overview of how European politics influences the logistics sector and to analyse individual companies that are affected.
The insights gained from the project have already become part of Soloplan’s corporate strategy. Especially the development department, the project management department and the sales department benefit from the project findings and use them, for example, to further develop the customs module.
Once again, we would like to thank the logistics master students for the good cooperation. It was a pleasure for us to be part of the project. We are already looking forward to participating in the lecture series again.
