Festive anniversary evening with celebrity performances
You should never miss an opportunity to celebrate. Our 30th company anniversary gave us a good reason to go really big for once. On summer solstice (21st of June), Soloplan City turned into a festively illuminated event location – ideal conditions for a memorable evening.
Numerous customers, representatives of the press and politics, neighbours as well as Soloplan colleagues were invited and gathered on the festively arranged company premises of Soloplan City. A beer bar truck, a wine stall and various food stalls offering curry, “Kässpatzen” (Bavarian homemade cheese pasta), pizza, pasta and bubble waffles made the guests want to spend a tasty evening.
The two CEOs Wolfgang and Fabian Heidl opened the promising evening for the approximately 200 listening guests. The publishing director of DVZ Oliver Detje travelled from Hamburg to us in order to anchor the evening with his North German jokes and his spontaneity. Unfortunately, the harsh coast weather followed him to the Allgäu region which brought us constant and heavy rain.
Luckily, all guests found sufficient shield under the tents and umbrellas so that the evening programme could continue unflinchingly. Firstly, our managing developers Christian Heidl and Steffen Wilke reported on the CarLo version update 3.0. Subsequently, a relaxed and amusing discussion round of five took place, consisting of the presenter, both CEOs, former head of Mercedes racing stable Norbert Haug and a visitor who was spontaneously called to the stage and who turned out to be an ardent fan of Formula 1.
After that, the evening headed for its highlight. Accompanied by a three-persons acoustic band, the Danish star singer Aura Dione went on stage. The rain did not prevent her from performing an absolutely stunning private concert which carried all the guests away. Everyone stood densely in front of the stage edge and danced cheerfully to the well-known hit songs such as Geronimo or I will love you Monday. All fears of contact were abandoned after Aura even went into the crowd. After about one hour of singing programme and the subsequent meet & greet, the evening almost reached its end.
