Digitization in transportation

Digitization accompanies each of us in our everyday lives and beyond. How this includes in the transport industry was presented by several speakers at the industry forum Digitalization in Transport on 01.06.2023 in Linz.

At the opening, Division Chairman Günther Reder gave a presentation on how the development, opportunities and possibilities of digitalization in the transport industry are progressing.

About the topic of digital transport management systems (TMS) and what support a TMS can offer was presented by one of our Soloplan experts.

With the presentations of the companies Förster Group and Tacho Easy, the audience heard an authentic experience report about a transport management system.

Johann Baldinger, innovation and digitalization expert of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKOÖ) informed the attendees with which offers, services and subsidies the WKOÖ member companies will be accompanied.

Following all presentations, numerous questions from the audience were answered. Digitalization in the transport industry is becoming an increasingly important topic, so we would like to thank you for the invitation and hope that we could
