Career information day at “Staaliche Realschule Kempten

On Thursday, 19 December 2019, we participated again in the career information day hosted by “Staatliche Realschule Kempten” (a secondary school in Kempten). In small groups, pupils from the ninth grade had the opportunity to pick up information and interesting facts about various companies (including Soloplan GmbH), the apprenticeship opportunities offered by those companies and the respective qualifications demanded.

Our recruiting team and one of our apprentices participated in order to introduce Soloplan GmbH as a company and to provide information on the apprenticeship opportunities management assistant in IT systems and IT specialist for application development or for system integration as well as on an apprenticeship in marketing with special emphasis on marketing communication. During a total of four presentations, they answered all questions on the content of the various apprenticeships, necessary qualifications or employment and promotion opportunities.

During the three-year dual apprenticeship at Soloplan GmbH, the apprentices are familiarised with all aspects of a modern software company: informing and advising customers and potential customers regarding their specific challenges, creating offers as well as designing and developing customised IT system solutions for logistics.

A great highlight of the apprenticeship is the opportunity to collect exciting experiences abroad. On request, apprentices are given the unique opportunity to work for two to three months in one of Soloplan’s branches in Poland or South Africa, to improve their language skills and get to know the country.
