CarLo – the driving force of digitalisation and innovation of the future at transport logistic 2023
The trade-fair marathon reaches its peak: After a four-year break, transport logistic finally took place again. From 9 to 12 May, visitors had the opportunity to meet both well-known industry representatives and new innovators in person at the trade fair in Munich.
During the four-day trade fair, the organisers recorded 75,000 visitors and 2,320 exhibitors. From IT service providers to forwarders–the sector representatives once again had the chance to participate in lively conversations and discussions. In every one of the trade-fair halls, core topics were discussed and debated: How did the pandemic affect the sector, what does the future of logistics look like and in which areas can digitalisation be supported more?
These questions were dealt with in many podium discussions and everyone agreed: The digitalisation of the sector–and the accompanying sustainability of the industry–is an indispensable part of the future of logistics.
Soloplan, the ideal partner for digitalisation, was, of course, also on site at the trade fair. Under the motto “relaxed digitalisation with AI in CarLo”, the Soloplan employees were able to have many consultations and presentations. In this case as well, the sector was communicating again–about the challenges and opportunities in the sector and how to ideally overcome and make the most of them.
To overcome the challenges of digitalisation in the most relaxed way possible, Soloplan invited visitors to escape into a new world: With soft handpan music and VR glasses that transported visitors from rainy Munich directly to a sunny beach, the IT experts showed that digitising company processes with CarLo is equally relaxing.
Soloplan clearly present themselves as a crisis-proof partner: Forwarders do not have to take on the digitalisation of logistics on their own. Every step in the process chain of transport and forwarding companies can be integrated and visualised in CarLo in a digital and simplified manner.
Soloplan places especially great importance on implementing the sector’s current requirements into the further development of the TOP TMS CarLo. As one of the market leaders of transport management systems, CarLo has a very strong global position. Soloplan does not want to develop and sell a “one size fits all” software. The goal is to be able to adapt the software to fit many different areas of the sector. That way, both a global logistics group and a regional tanker, for example, can make similar use of the TMS.
With this approach, the Kempten-based software company was able to impress countless visitors during the four trade-fair days. Soloplan can draw a thoroughly positive balance of this trade fair: The magnificent feedback ranged from the setup, the relaxing handpan music and the VR glasses to the many new features of the TMS CarLo.
