Business intelligence and machine learning – guest lecture at the University of Kempten
For many years, it has been a great pleasure for us to give guest lectures at the University of Kempten. This time, we visited the business informatics students of the sixth semester and their professor Prof. Dr. Stefan Wind.
First, the approximately 30 students had the chance to get to know Soloplan as an employer and to obtain information on career opportunities. Then, our chief development officer Christian Heidl explained how business intelligence is used in the logistics sector, taking the logistics software CarLo as an example.
Finally, the students had the chance to gain an insight into what artificial intelligence is all about. Soloplan has set up an internal project team to advance the integration of machine learning into our logistics software CarLo, which will revolutionise transport planning.
Many thanks for the invitation. We are already looking forward to the next lecture.
